I watched those towers built as a young boy living in new york. I want to watch the new ones rise even higher than the originals. What better place to honor the lives that were lost than at a new Top of the World outdoor observation deck?
Nothing would make me happier than to see the Twin Towers back where they belong. I think it is an absolute disgrace that nearly five years after the worst attack on American soil, not one thing has been done at the site. What kind of message are we sending to the animals who perpetrated this heinous crime, and more importantly the world? That we could be so easily broken, as a city and more importantly a nation. I think now more than ever a clear message needs to be sent to rebuild the Towers.
I would love nothing more than to see the Towers rebuilt bigger and better as a sign to the world that the USA cannot be defeated. The rebuilt Twin Towers would be a true symbol of the power, resilience and strength of America and its people. I imagine how great it would be to look up and see the Twin Towers back in their place as symbols of American/New York strength. I could not think of a better memorial to the victims of this horrific tragedy.

Though a remark about images (visual reminders) and not the towers itself, I find it applies equally and agree completely:
Mr. Mark Gobe, president and CEO of the Desgrippes Gobe Group, remarks in NY Post, Sept. 19, 2001: “The question is if the towers, because of events, have transcended being just office buildings to being an icon meaning ‘freedom.’ The Twin Towers qualify as a symbol of pride for people, and should be kept.”
As a retired NYCPD, with 27 years of service, Watching those two building being built from the ground up and then seeing them destroyed from the top down, I believe and agree that these building MUST be replaced the same way as before.
There is no other solution that is so perfect, so right, so just and so effective than to rebuild the Twin Towers. My wife & I celebrated our engagement there, at the “Windows on the World” restaurant. I grew up in Hicksville, Long Island, admiring the towers as they were built. I love those buildings. I abhor the animals that tore them down. The only way to exact justice upon these miscreants is to put back, the symbol they can never destroy. Our Twin Towers! God Bless America!!
A tragedy can be viewed as great strength. When we turn around and rebuild the skyline with what was meant to be in a greater way. It will be viewed as a constant reminder that we should strive to be stronger and better always. Our New York residents and their families suffered a loss insurmountable to the emotions that run deep in their hearts. Lets make “The New Towers” a symbol for “The Heart of our country”
please rebuild the twin towers. please i want them rebuilt so we can remember the people and how they saved each other life. please please please rebuild them cause them dun heads trying 2 build that freedom tower trying 2 call that the twin towers that is not the twin towers please just rebuild them please. thank you and god bless America.
My father was not an NYC policeman, but for 20 years he was a cop in Mount Vernon and Elmsford, in Westchester, NY. He was a first responder on 9/11 and stayed down at Ground Zero for four days, patrolling security around the area to make sure everyone stayed away from the then hazardous and still burning debris. He is a true hero in my mind and this plan for new Twin Towers is what everyone wants, and hopefully we can get this plan passed to “Make NY, NY Again” as I remember being one of your slogans.

Build the twin towers back up and add at least 10 more stories high to each to show the world that NYC is the toughest city in the world!
